Miss Deane - Junior Classroom Teacher

We are well under way in the Junior room! Welcome to our four new preps, Willa, Charlotte, Hudson and Sebastian you have made our classroom so bright and warm.

Literacy

For Literacy this fortnight we have begun our take home readers. We have been learning about how we look after them and what a fabulours silent reader should look like. We also start writting, with teaching the preps about our sky, grass, dirt book and what a margin is.

Maths

The focus for Maths this fornight, for the Preps was knowing numbers. We have been exploring what numbers looking, how to read their names and how we can make them using different materials. For the grade 1/2's we pick up at addition. We worked our brains to remember the different stratergies we know to work out differnt sums.
