Cross Country Divisions Success

Last Wednesday, eight outstanding Newlands students proudly represented our school at the Cross Country Divisions Championships. Congratulations to Layla, Ramona, Valerie, Ari, Marlo, Lenny, Harvey and Winston for earning the opportunity to compete at this level.

All students demonstrated incredible determination, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the event. It was both inspiring and emotional to watch them give their absolute best, pushing themselves to the finish line and representing Newlands with pride. Their commitment, courage and positive attitude were a wonderful reflection of our school values.

We are extremely proud of every student who participated. Reaching the Divisions Championships is a fantastic achievement and a reward for all the hard work they have put into their training and preparation.

A special congratulations goes to Valerie and Marlo, who achieved outstanding results and have now qualified for the next stage of competition – the Cross Country Regionals. This is an incredible accomplishment, and we wish them the very best as they continue their cross country journey.
