Principal's Update
St Joseph's is a child-safe school.
We promote the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all students.
As we head towards the end of Term 2, this will be our final newsletter for the term. It has been a busy and productive few months, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank our families for their ongoing support of our school community. I wish everyone a safe, restful and enjoyable break, and hope you have the chance to spend some quality time together over the holidays.
I would also like to acknowledge and sincerely thank Karen Brown, who will be finishing at the end of this term. Karen has given many years of dedicated service to St Joseph’s as our Administration Officer and has truly been the welcoming face of our school. Her care, professionalism and commitment have meant so much to our staff, students and families. We wish Karen all the very best as she begins this next chapter in her retirement - she will be greatly missed.
We will be holding our next whole school assembly on Thursday June 25 at 2:35pm in the hall, all families are very welcome to attend.
A reminder also that school will finish early at 2:15pm on Friday June 26, as it is the final day of term.
Due to the forecast weather conditions, our School Athletics Carnival scheduled for tomorrow will be postponed until Friday, July 17 2026. The safety and wellbeing of our students is always our priority.
Student reports will be released in the final week of Term 2 for families to access via SIMON. Families will be able to log in to PAM (Simon Everywhere App) to view their child’s report.
These reports provide a detailed overview of student progress, achievement and areas for future growth across all learning areas. Parents and carers are encouraged to read through the report carefully and discuss their child’s learning with them.
Thank you once again for your continued support throughout the term. Take care over the break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for Term 3.
With warm regards,
Julie Cornwall, Acting Principal
