Physical Education - Miss Atherton
š This fortnight Grades Prep-Two have finished up their soccer unit, everybody walking away with basic knowledge of soccer, and skills such as dribbling, short and long passes, and some goal kicking of course! They have begun their Pop and Paddle unit where they are exploring striking objects with a range of different implements. We have started with striking balloons through station activities using paddles, bowling pins, noodles, and even soft frisbees!
Ā
ā½ļø Ā Grades 3 & 4 have continued their soccer unit through a Game Sense lens, where they continue to practise their soccer skills whilst learning about the rules, competitiveness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and strategies important for a fun game of soccer!
Ā
š„ Ā Grades 5 & 6 have also continued their soccer unit through a SEPEP lens, where they are now beginning to play mini games of soccer in their teams using roles such as captain, coach, score keeper and umpire. Perfect timing as our Socceroos are about to compete in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with their first game against Turkey on 14th of June, go Socceroos!

Visual Arts - Mrs AnstisĀ
This fortnight our Art Room has exploded with colour.Ā
The windows have been adorned with colour mixing artwork from F-2. Students learnt the difference between solid and transparent, then used cellophane to mix primary and secondary colours. Senior classes have finished their Cool/Warm pieces and have been displayed in the Art Room. Students in Grades 5-6 enjoyed experimenting with colour whilst making their own Newton's Reverse Rainbow.Ā
