Picking Up and Dropping Off - Gallagher's Road Gate

To ensure the safety and smooth operation of our school, we ask that all families follow the guidelines for entering and exiting the school grounds. Your cooperation is vital in creating a safe, efficient environment for both students and staff.

Entering the School Grounds:

• Parents and guardians should use the designated gates for entry during the drop-off and pick-up times.
• Only authorized individuals should be allowed entry, and parents should avoid entering school buildings unless necessary (e.g., for a scheduled appointment or event).
• Please refrain from entering through gates not meant for parent access to avoid congestion and ensure easy flow of traffic and pedestrians.

Exiting the School Grounds:

• When exiting the grounds, please follow the clear signs and directions that guide you to the nearest exit gate.
• If you are picking up your child, please do so promptly and avoid lingering around gates to allow space for other families.
• Please walk with your child to the designated exit area—this will help minimize congestion and ensure all students are safely escorted home.

A change to Gallaghers road gate.

We encourage parents to enter to enter and exit through the 'double gates' from Gallagher road and continue to walk down the outside of 2JS/2WV classrooms. The walkway (boardwalk) between 2JS/2WV and 2CL/2FB is narrow resulting in a congestion of traffic.  Opening up  a larger space for everyone is a safer approach. The small single gate will be permanently closed.
