Year 1 Cockatoos and Kangaroos
We’ve had a fantastic first week in Year 1, settling into our routines and building our classroom community! One of our focus stories this week has been How to Be a Bucket Filler, and we have been discussing all the ways we can fill each other’s buckets by showing kindness, using kind words, and helping others.
It’s been a great start to the year, and we’re excited for all the learning ahead!
Year 4 Geckoes and Koalas
We can’t believe we are in Week 2 already!
Year 4 had a wonderful start to the school year. ‘Get to know you’ activities and sharing our holiday experiences were our first activities as we began learning all about our new class family for 2025. We then tested our knowledge, discussed our class and school expectations, set new goals, and engaged in various learning experiences.
We have loved learning new brain break activities, catching up with friends, and we especially enjoyed the cool treat to mark the end of a very hot first week back. There are no signs of slowing down, with students already diving into exciting lessons across all subjects. From exploring new math concepts to developing our reading and writing skills, Year 4 is embracing every challenge with enthusiasm.
As we settle into our routines, we are looking forward to hands-on projects, creative learning opportunities, and working together to achieve our goals. It’s going to be a fantastic term of growth, discovery, and fun!
