Year 5/6 Learning Reflection
Grade 5/6 students practise their fluency in reading time with a buddy and as part of small reading groups.
In 6B each table practised reading ‘The Stone Lion’ before recording it as an audio book for our younger students.
We kept our audience in mind and made sure we worked on our fluency.
We've been busy with daily preparation for our end of year production, The Giant Jam Sandwich.
Creating our Production props.
Reading - Author Study investigation - Jackie French.
We have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes - classfying them by their features and building them using our knowledge of their edges, vertices and parallel faces.
6B Showcasing their awesome posters displaying The properties of 3D objects.
Regional Champs
Some of our Grade 5/6 students have been competing in a variety of sports at Regional sports events.
They did very well and we are very proud of their achievments.
