Middle Sub School News
Sarah Hill - Middle Sub School Leader
Hi parents, carers and extended community members,
Happy last week of term everyone- and what a term it has been!
I hope you were able to attend our WONDERFUL production earlier in the week. It certainly was a great celebration of all things music, drama and performance, and also showcase so many personal and social skills students have been developing both in the playground and in the classroom. A HUGE congratulations to our students for the way they prepared for, and participated in the production.
2025 Classes
2025 classes are in the midst of coming together. This process involves leadership, teachers, education support staff, therapists as well as the insights provided by you, the trusted caregivers. We can’t wait to see what 2025 brings for your child, and so our aim is to provide them with a learning environment that enables them to learn, grow and be challenged.
Seesaw
Be sure to continue to check Seesaw to gain an insight into what is occurring both in and out of the classroom. There are plenty of special days here at JSA that you are welcomed to attend, however in the event you cannot, Seesaw is a great way to stay connected.
Excursions and Incursions
In Term 4, we are looking forward to hosting an Aussie Farm, a production/drama team as well as taking an excursion to Inflatable World. Be sure to look out for permission slips for these!
On behalf of the Middle Sub School, I wish everyone a wonderful break. May it be filled with slower mornings, family time, catch ups with friends, and as always, plenty of laughter. We look forward to seeing you in Term 4, to solidify what has been a wonderful year to date!
Room 14
In Room 14, we have been enjoying our cooking and gardening sessions, building LEGO creations, sessions in the OT room and climbing room, and end of the day swing time on the Bird’s Nest. We have really enjoyed the responsibility of raising and lowering the flags each week!
