Joshua Higson - House Coordinator
As the school year draws to a close for Year 12 2024, we say a fond farewell to two remarkable leaders, Angus and Krishna, who have led Clancy House with distinction, energy, and unwavering dedication. Their leadership has left an indelible mark on Clancy House and we are incredibly grateful for the guidance, support, and Clancy spirit they have nurtured during their time as leaders.
Angus, Krishna and all our Clancy leaders have been exemplary in their commitment to fostering unity, energy, and camaraderie within Clancy House. Whether it was on the sports field, dancing in front of the entire school, or during house events, their passion and enthusiasm inspired us all to strive for our best. They have shown what it means to lead with kindness, integrity, and strength, and their legacy will surely be felt for years to come.
One of the most meaningful initiatives led by Angus and Krishna was their incredible work around R U OK? Day. Encouraging all members of the Chev community to notice the signs of mental health struggle in friends, family, colleagues and to start meaningful conversations around the topic.
As we bid farewell to Angus, Krishna and all the Year 12’s of Clancy House, we also warmly welcome our new leaders, Lilly Greenough and Jemima Cleary, who will be stepping into their roles with fresh energy and a vision for the future. Both Lilly and Jemima have already demonstrated their dedication to Clancy House, and we are excited to see how they will carry forward the strong sense of community and spirit that Angus and Krishna have cultivated.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to all the Year 12 students of Clancy House for their unwavering support over the years. Your contributions, whether big or small, have helped shape the character of our house, and your leadership has set a positive example for younger students.
Some very big things to come for Clancy House in 2025. I look forward to seeing Jemima and Lilly hold the House Shield high above their heads at the end of next year.
Go Clancy!
Mr. Higson
