RSC Success Stories

RSC is building their National Team for Brisbane 2025 - starting with Jayden Zheng!
A huge congratulations to Jayden Zheng in the National Target squad who swam his way to 2 National qualifying times in the 50m and 100m breaststroke last weekend at the Sprint Charity Meet at MSAC!
This is a massive achievement for Jayden, especially so early in the long course season. Jayden will be eligible to attend the National Age Championships in April 2025, as he will have just turned 14 a few weeks before the meet, which is the minimum age for boys to compete at this level!
Jayden joined RSC in early 2022 and has improved in leaps and bounds, making his way from our most junior squads all the way through to our National Target squad in under 2 years. Jayden is described as tenacious and ambitious, qualities which are required to swim against the best in the country. Although Jayden didn't quite get the results he was hoping for at the Victorian SC Age Champs the weekend before, he took his coach's feedback onboard and turned up the next weekend ready to put it into practice and his grit and determination paid off!
Jayden's family are strong supporters of RSC, sponsoring the club and sitting on the committee, and have 2 other children who swim with us. Jayden has shown his younger siblings that anything is possible with hard work and determination! Well done Jayden, we're so proud of you!
Noel Jones Community Support Program
RSC is this month's winner of the Noel Jones Community Support Program!
We have been lucky enough to win $1000 for the club.
The $1000 will be put towards operational costs, including the running of our holiday clinics, to help keep costs low for our families.
Grants such as this one are pivotal to grass roots organizations such as Ringwood Swimming Club, helping our swimmers reach their goals sooner because we are able to offer more opportunities to focus on technique and skills.
