Pre-K to Year 2
Congratulations to the Year One students on their outstanding assembly based on "The Gruffalo"! The effort and creativity they put into creating their masks, learning the story, and practising the actions truly paid off. It was evident that they were engaged and having fun, bringing the characters to life with so much enthusiasm. A special mention goes to the Gruffalo song—it was a real highlight of the performance! Watching the students showcase their best Gruffalo faces and hearing their confident singing filled the audience with joy. Well done to all the students, teachers, and staff involved for making this assembly a memorable and delightful experience for everyone!
This year, Salvado Catholic College proudly hosted its inaugural Early Years Carnival, and it was a tremendous success! The event was marked by an exceptional turnout from parents, and we are incredibly grateful for your support and enthusiasm. Your presence added to the energy of the day and made it even more special for the students.
A special mention goes to Mrs. Wilkie and Mr. Johns for their dedication and hard work in preparing the students for this exciting day. Their efforts in organising practices and building excitement were clearly reflected in the students' performances. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the staff members who contributed to the smooth running of the various activities throughout the day. Your commitment and teamwork ensured that every part of the carnival ran seamlessly.
The students had a fantastic time participating in the carnival, and it was wonderful to see them confidently showcasing their sporting skills. From running races to fun obstacle courses, they gave their best in every event, showing great sportsmanship and enthusiasm. The day was filled with laughter, cheers, and proud moments for everyone involved. Thank you once again to all who made the inaugural Early Years Carnival a memorable and joyous occasion for our school community!
Throughout the term, our Early Years students have continued to develop their skills and knowledge in a range of areas. From exploring new concepts in Literacy and Numeracy, to engaging in creative arts and hands-on experiences, the children have shown curiosity, resilience, and a love for learning. Our dedicated teachers and education assistants have worked tirelessly to provide enriching and supportive environments where each child can thrive. I am continually amazed by the progress our students make and the joy they find in their learning journeys.
As we move into the next term, we have many exciting activities and learning opportunities planned. We will continue to focus on building strong foundational skills, fostering creativity, and encouraging positive social interactions among our students. Our goal is to nurture well-rounded, confident, and compassionate learners who are ready to take on new challenges.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to all our parents and families for your ongoing support and partnership. Your involvement in your child’s education is invaluable, and together, we create a nurturing community where every child can flourish.
Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable break. We look forward to welcoming you back next term for more exciting adventures in learning!
Kind Regards,
Mrs Lisa Ripley
