A Message from the Principal

Dear Parents and Carergivers

As I look back on this busy Term Three, I am filled with a deep sense of gratitude for the many blessings that have enriched our college community. The weeks have flown by, filled with academic achievements, sporting activities, spiritual growth, community events and opportunities to foster the values that define our Catholic identity.

One of the key highlights of the term has been witnessing the dedication of our students. From their participation in Masses and liturgical celebrations to their engagement in College activities and academic challenges, they have shown a true commitment to living out the Gospel values. It is heartening to see how they are growing not only in knowledge but also in their faith, compassion, and service to others.

The Salvado Catholic College staff have been nothing short of incredible. Their professionalism and care have been the backbone of all we have accomplished. They have gone above and beyond, creating an environment where every student feels valued and supported. Their efforts in weaving faith into student learning and ensuring that our college remains a place of learning, faith, and love is truly inspiring.

Our parents/care givers and wider school community have been tremendous partners throughout the term. Their active participation in school events, fundraisers, and spiritual activities has strengthened the bond between home and school, a partnership essential in fostering the holistic development of each child.

Staffing Updates

I am very pleased to announce that Mrs Lisa Ripley has been appointed as the Vice Principal of Salvado Catholic College commencing in 2025, I look forward to working with Mrs Ripley in this important new role at the College. e are in the process of appointing a Head of Early Years to replace her.

HASS Teacher Mrs Lindsay Farrell will commence at Salvado Catholic College at the start of Term Four and Mr Jonathan Hunt will join the College at the start of Week Three in Term Four as the Learning Area Coordinator for English and English Teacher. We welcome Mrs Farrell and Mr Hunt to the Salvado Community.

As we prepare for a well-deserved break, I encourage everyone to take this time for rest and reflection. In the busyness of our daily lives, it is easy to lose sight of the need for spiritual rejuvenation. I pray that this period offers each of us a chance to reconnect with God, our families, and ourselves.

I look forward to the next term with hope and excitement, confident that with God's guidance, we will continue to nurture minds, hearts, and spirits in our mission to form individuals who are committed to serving others and living out their faith.

Peace & Goodness to all,

Ian Hagen
