Grade 6 Transition

Over the last three days of this term, we’ve run our annual Kick Start Confidence Transition program. 

As part of this, all Grade 6 students from our local primary schools have attended KSC for three days. They have participated in a range of activities including getting to know the school and staff, regular Year 7 classes and other special activities. This is a great opportunity for these students to gradually become more comfortable in a secondary setting as they prepare for the big jump next year. 

All 106 students who have attended over the last three days have been wonderful to work with, full of smiles and look like they’ve had a great time. We are looking forward to seeing them again later this year, and then next year as our new Year 7 students.
