Departing Friday morning and returning Sunday early evening, we have a long weekend of music and fun planned at the Y Camp in Yarramundi. Farewell to our Year 12 Musicians
Thank you and farewell to our year 12 Musicians: Emily Colbran, Layla Davis, Claudia Ivery, Casper Larkin, Reagan Lloyd and Maeve Magner. It has been a pleasure to work with every one of you in the Music Co-Curricular program and watch your talents flourish. Your contribution has been greatly appreciated. To paraphrase the iconic ABBA: "Thank you for the Music and sharing it with us!"
Flute Concert
Congratulations to the following students who all performed at the recent Flute Concert at the PAC: Layla Davis (Year 12), Frankie McNair (Year 10), Evie Pritchard (Year 10), Isabel Dolbel (Year 9), Zia Mamo (Year 9), Georgia Kustra (Year 8), Lizzie Nealon-Cook (Year 8), Ruby Minter (Year 7), Rosie Griffin (Year 6) and Peri Stockwell (Year 5).
It was a very entertaining concert in which each student performed two solo pieces, with repertoire from Star Wars, the Beatles and Taylor Swift to Telemann, Fauré and Mozart. The students then combined and performed two pieces as a Flute Ensemble. The audience was impressed by the standard of the concert, and there were many comments too on how the students encouraged and inspired each other.
Many thanks to the wonderful accompanist, Mrs Julie Cooney, and congratulations to all on a wonderful concert.
Mrs Robyn Glindemann

Orpheus Strings Student Concert
Last Sunday a number of our students performed in the Orpheus Strings student concert as part of a Senior and Junior String Orchestra. The concert was a huge success and the students played brilliantly after many weeks of Sunday afternoon rehearsals.
Thanks as always to the parents for their support and to Elizabeth Harding for coordinating the ensemble. Congratulations to Elizabeth Isbister, Maeve Magner, Hester Kinnear and Hugo Lewczak from the Senior School and Claire, Mariella, Kane, Ivy and Adelaide from the Junior School. Conductor Julie Cooney is very excited to have so many young enthusiastic players working together.
