Family Fun Night

On a biennial basis, the Greenwith Campus (Our Lady of Hope School and Greenwith Primary School) undertakes a major fundraising initiative called the Family Fun Night. Funds from this year’s campus fundraiser will go towards our Nature Play area. 

For families new to our school, Family Fun Night is not only to raise funds for our campus but also to enhance a positive spirit between our two schools and the broader community. 

The night is full of fun, stalls, amusements, food, prizes and a major raffle. We can't wait!

This year for the first time, we will be running a hybrid payment system. As we will have limited eftpos facilities available on the night, tokens will be available for purchase on the Qkr! app early in term 4 providing the option of paying with either cash or tokens at the various stalls on the night. More information will be provided in the next newsletter, week 1 of term 4

Super Raffle!

Last week, the youngest child in each family should have brought home a raffle book for our Campus Family Fun Night Super Raffle. Each family will receive one book of 20 tickets, with tickets priced at $2.00 each. Selling tickets is optional and students can return the book sold, partially sold or unsold.

We ask if you do not wish to sell the book that the book is returned as soon as possible so it can be given to another family.  Tickets are limited to 13,000 across the Campus. Unsold raffle books, raffle tickets, raffle stubs and money are to be returned to the front office via the payments box.

We currently have no additional books available until unsold tickets are returned. Once we start receiving books and unsold tickets back we will be able to re-issue tickets.  If you would like to be allocated additional tickets or books, please email dl.1858.info@schools.sa.edu.au and request how many extra tickets/books you require.  These tickets will be sent to your child’s class once we have more available.

All raffle books, ticket stubs and payments need to be returned by Monday, 6 November.  

The raffle will be drawn at the entertainment area at 7:00 p.m. on Family Fun Night: 17 November 2023. Winners will be contacted by phone on Monday, 20 November if not present on the night. Results will be published in the OLOH and GPS newsletters in week 6, term 4.

We have so many amazing prizes up for grabs for our raffle this year and encourage you to sell as many tickets as you can. All funds raised go towards the new nature play area.
