Lights....Camera...ACTION!!

After all the effort to learn lines and dance steps and rehearsals to practice performing on stage and being animated as we sing and dance...we are ready for our very first Junior School Production in our new hall!!

Destination Regulation

I hope you have your tickets for this great night as our youngest students STAR!! It will be a BIG night for them and our staff. We are all very excited to see our little ones sparkle and shine on stage. Please get involved in clapping and cheering our stars. They will do their very BEST and we are already so proud of them. 

When you drop off your child for the concert of Friday this week or next, move over to the new hall. Present your ticket and locate your seat. All rows will be labelled so you should be able to find your seat as you do at the movies. The P&F will have items for sale in the canteen. Please do support our P&F as all funds raised helps us get new resources for the school. This time we are working on adding play items beside the hall and the new sandpit. We will ask you to take your seats so that the show can get started promptly on time. 

At the end of the Junior Production, the chairs will not need to be packed up. However after the Senior Production we will be glad for some help to stack and pack up the chairs. We do ask that you help us by placing all rubbish in the bins and ensuring any spills get cleaned up immediately to protect our shiny new floors. There are many advantages of having our own hall and having the stage for regular practice has been a great asset. 

Step Into SFS!!

Our 2024 Foundation students were very excited to take a BIG step as they gathered last Wednesday for our Step into SFS party. They came all dressed up in their party best and many in special costumes to join in the FUN!!

We were very impressed with their confidence as they sang songs and joined in some dancing with staff and family members who came along with them. It was a joyous occasion as the children were introduced to our specialists staff and had a little tester of some of our specialists subjects. It was great to be able to spread out in our new hall especially for some PMP fun, use our new music rooms as well and have heaps of space for some art in the new multipurpose hall. 

All that hard work made us all rather thirsty and we finished the party with some party food and drinks. The children went home very happy with their lolly bag and a SFS balloon.

The orientation program has now commenced for Foundation 2024. The program will conclude in December when all students meet their 2024 Home Group teacher on the 12 December. We are still conducting enrolment interviews and doing tours of the school. A few places still are available for Foundation 2024. We are delighted with the enrolment of our little stars and we look forward to maintaining our high standard with continued successful outcomes.  We are very proud of our proven track record of raising the bar and gaining high results.
