P&F Food Stalls
Last Friday evening, the St Virgil’s College Parents & Friends Association hosted food stalls and food/coffee vans at the College Choomalaka Festival & Feast. The event was blessed with favourable weather, incredible new facilities and a strong crowd of 1 200+ enjoying performances, artwork and light displays, delicious food, specialty shakes and hot drinks.
Thank you to the College community for supporting this year’s event!

The Parents and Friends Association are hosting the following community events during 2023-2024:
- Online Auction – 19 to 24 October 2023
- Christmas Raffle – December 2023
- Quiz Night – March 2024
College events provide opportunities for students, staff, family and friends to come together to engage, support and celebrate the spirit of St Virgil’s College. In addition these events raise funds for equipment and resources that enhance the educational experiences of students across the two campuses.
This year the P&F provided funding to purchase two first aid kits to support the College’s sporting teams, pod coffee machines and a foosball table for the new Year 11-12 Student Lounge, three permanent outdoor table tennis tables that will be located around the Austins Ferry campus, a portion of the initial site survey for future development at the Patrick Street campus, as well as a variety of community activities such as the Junior School Mother's and Father's Day Breakfasts.
The P&F are seeking sponsors and donations from the junior and senior school communities and businesses to support these community events, particularly the upcoming College Online Auction in mid-October 2023.
The Online Auction generates a lot of interest and ‘friendly’ competition between bidders! Past events indicate that anything attracts a bid. Examples include:
