From the Classroom - S2

Students in S2 were asked for their reflections about Term Three.  When they took the time to think back on all the things they had done just in this term, there were quite a few highlights and some popular selections.

For some, it was individual goals and achievements, such as making it into division level in athletics or improving their beep test score in PE.  For others, it was curriculum focus events and whole school activities, such the Writers Festival and National Tree Planting in our school grounds. Other curriculum areas received a mention such as learning particular Visual Arts techniques (papier mâché) and Humanities studies around the topic of Government (participating in a mock sitting of parliament). 

Students in S2 have also been proud to represent and be a part of interschool basketball teams as well as try out new sports such as lacrosse.  They are looking forward building on their memories from the many learning opportunities and events that are already planned for in Term Four.  They hope everyone else has some highlights that they can treasure from their time at school this term as well.
