Announcing an Appointment

It is with great delight that I announce the appointment of our substantive Assistant Principal. Sarah Bigmore has been successful in this recent process and will commence in the role as the Assistant Principal of Miners Rest Primary School from Term 4. Congratulations Sarah! We are so very fortunate to secure you in this position for our students, staff and school community.

SEEDS

We are very excited to be able to offer the Social & Emotional Early Development Program for students in the Foundation to Year 2 year levels, as of next term. This program focuses on play-based language experiences and supports the development of social, emotional and learning confidence. Megan Polson will be leading this program and we look forward to sharing the exciting experiences on offer in the SEEDS program in Term 4.

Performing Arts

We welcome Linda Duke to our staff as she takes over the role of Performing Arts in Term 4. Linda is a passionate teacher of music and is very excited about the opportunity to join the Miners Rest team. We look forward to the students meeting and working with Linda next term.

Student-led Conferences

We thank all of our families for attending Student-led Conferences today. Our teachers and students have worked really hard at preparing learning to share and celebrate. We thank you for your presence and input in this important process.

Your involvement matters to us and makes a difference every day.
