Ballarat-Maryborough/Western Freeway interchange upgrade – final asphalt works rescheduled to Sunday 17 September 

Please be advised that these works have been rescheduled to commence from Sunday 17 September and crews will be on site.  

Night works: Sunday 17 September to Monday 18 September

From 7pm, Sunday 17 September to 5am, Monday 18 September, Howe Street will close between Normlyttle Parade and the Western Freeway interchange to prepare the road pavement for the asphalt works. The Western Freeway eastbound exit and entry ramps will also close during this time.  

Day works: Monday 18 September to Friday 22 September 

The Western Freeway On-Ramp and Off-Ramp will be closed from 7am, Monday 18 August to 5pm, Friday 22 September, while asphalt and line marking works are completed. 

Lane closures at the roundabout will also be in place, with through traffic between Howe Street and Learmonth Road to be maintained. Delays of up to five minutes are expected. Please plan your travel to minimise delays.

Basketball Ballarat Junior Miners Holiday Camp

Adroit Insurance & Risk Junior Holiday Camps are held during each school holidays for children aged 5-13 years old of all genders and abilities. 

Improve your skills, develop techniques, enhance your game, meet new friends and ultimately have fun! Our camps cater for the beginner who has never picked up a basketball to the most experience 13 year old in the land!

All participants can expect:

• Expert instructions from professional coaches including Miners player and coaches 
• Develop new basketball skills and training methods 
• Fun and inclusive learning environment 
• Structured session content including great games and prizes at every camp
• Learn how to be a great team mate and help others succeed 

Registrations for the Spring Holidays are now open, with the camp being held on Monday September 18th , Tuesday September 19th , Wednesday September 27th and Thursday September 28th from 9:00am till 3:00pm at Selkirk Stadium.
