REMINDER FOR 2023 School Contributions

As the 2023 School Contributions correspondence required updating, we now forward the updated form, along with a friendly reminder to families about the 2023 voluntary contributions, which we note to date are exceptionally low.  As such, parents are invited to contact the office to make a voluntary contribution, and note, it is not too late to make your contribution for 2023.

These funds greatly assist the costs of materials and equipment for programs such as English, Maths, STEM, the Arts, PE, etc. and support online subscriptions costs, printing and copying costs, student wellbeing programs, along with school grounds maintenance and improvements.

The updated MRPS 2023 Contributions schedule is attached, for further clarification.  Please complete and return the payment form included or contact the office at your earliest convenience to arrange your contribution, either in full or part payment.

All contributions received, go a long way in supporting all programs across the school and are greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

2023 Swimming Program

Families will have now received the swimming program information, which runs over 10 weeks for the duration of Term 4, for Foundation to Year 4 students.  We understand the price has increased from last year, which is due to a restructure in Government funding.  Please note the school has provided a subsidy, which has reduced the overall costs of this program.  Should you require any further clarification or wish to discuss the program further, please contact Kylie Nissen.  We hope all students enjoy the 2023 swimming program.

Miners Rest Primary School Hats

The school is now selling broad-brimmed Miners Rest Primary School hats at a cost of $17 each directly from the office.  These are the same hats that Beleza sell.   If you would like to purchase a hat, please contact the office.

First Aid/Sick Bay Notifications

We have transitioned to electronic notifications of first aid/sick bay incidents.  If your child presents to the first aid/sick bay, as the parent/carer, you will receive a notification from Sentral regarding the incident.  As per normal procedure, the responsible staff member will call if there is a serious injury that requires attention. Contact the admin staff if you have any concerns or questions.
