Last Day of Term 3 Events

We have two exciting events coming up on Friday 15th of September, Walk to School Day and Footy Colours Day. 

Friday's weather is looking perfect for Walk to School Day! Teachers will be stationed at starting points around Miners Rest, and will walk with students to our central meeting point near the school crossing (between the crossing and the cenotaph).  From there all students and staff will walk together to school. There is a map below with teachers and starting points for your reference. A hard copy was sent home earlier this week.

We will also be celebrating Footy Colours Day on this day, and students are encouraged to wear footy jumpers or the colours of their favourite team. When we arrive at school, students will return to their classroom to mark attendance, before gathering in the Gym to show off our footy colours.  

 Please bring a gold coin donation to contribute to JSC fundraising.

Please note: In the case of inclement weather The Walk to School Day will be cancelled and the school community will be notified via Sentral. 

Yearbook Front/Back Cover Competition

DON'T FORGET - This week we are hoping to finalise entries for the yearbook competition. We have seen some AMAZING designs so far. Please make sure you submit your finished work to your teacher this week.
