Foundation Musical Play

Thank you to all of the wonderful families who attended Foundation Musical Play last Monday. We hope you all had a lovely time singing, dancing and playing instruments with your children for our transport theme. 

Our activities for the session included:

 * Flying airplanes through the air and following its movement with our singing voices. To do this we took supportive belly breaths and followed the direction of the plane using our high to low (descending) voices. 

*Singing our transport version of the song 'The Band of the Bus' using different percussion instruments. Sometimes we had to play really fast because the bus was in a hurry and other times we had to play slowly because it was driving through a school zone. 

*We finished our session with movement to a song called 'Highway Number One.' In this song we chose to move our bodies like different types of air, land or sea vehicles and travelled to each major city in Australia.
