Easter Raffle

Our Catholic Social Teaching Student Leaders are running our Easter Raffle for Project Compassion and ask that each family please bring an Easter egg for this. Easter eggs can be given to the Office. Raffle tickets are $1. Our CST Leaders will visit TAs selling tickets, please bring your money to purchase tickets! The winners will be announced at the end of term.

End of Term Community Assemblies

We invite families of F-4 and 5-8 students to celebrate our Term 1 learning at our end of term Community Assemblies on Wednesday 2nd April in the Brigidine Centre.

  • 9.10am - 5-8 Community

  • 10.00am - F-4 Community

Canteen closed on Friday 4th April

Please be advised that due to renovations, the school canteen will be closed next Friday, 4th April (last day of Term 1).

Mother's Day Stall helpers required

Our 2025 Mother's Day Stall will be held on Friday 9th May.

 

We are seeking volunteers to assist at the stall for approximately one hour from 9.00am.

If you are able to help, please contact Bec Ciavarella on 0487 777 330.

 

All volunteers are required to have completed the Volunteer Induction process.  Details about new Online Volunteer Training will be available soon.

Last Day of Term 1

The last day of Term 1 is next Friday, 4th April.  School will finish at 2.20pm on this day.

Reminder - Student Free Days and Term 2 Commencement

A reminder to families of the following student free days at the beginning of Term 2:

  • Monday 21st April - Easter Monday
  • Tuesday 22nd April - Student Free Day for Staff Professional Learning
  • Wednesday 23rd April - Student Free Day for Staff Professional Learning
  • Thursday 24th April - Student Free Day for Staff Professional Learning
  • Friday 25th April - Anzac Day

 Students will return to school on Monday 28th April to commence Term 2.

Sacramental Program 2025

Expression of Interest: Sacramental Program 2025

We are excited to share on behalf of the St Augustine’s Parish, the commencement of the St Augustine’s Sacramental Program for 2025.

 

An Information Evening 

will be held (for parents and children) on 

Wednesday 30th April 2025 

in St Augustine’s Church Kyabram 

commencing at 6.30 pm. 

 

This year St Augustine’s Parish will be offering the following Sacraments on the dates set out below:

  • Sacrament of Reconciliation will be celebrated on Thursday 19th June, 2025 at 6.30pm.

  • The Sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion will be celebrated on the weekend of 20th and 21st September, 2025.

Please note, children need to be in Year 3 or above to commence the Sacramental Program. Children must be baptised in the Catholic Church in order to participate in the Parish Sacramental Program. 

 

If your child is not baptised and wishes to receive these sacraments or if your family would like further information about becoming Catholic, please contact our Pastoral Assistant, Mrs Mary Zobec at the Parish Office on 5852 1026.

 

Expression of Interest

To support the Parish to prepare adequate resources for the Information Evening could you please indicate your intention to attend the Information Evening by responding to the Operoo sent to families by Wednesday 2nd April, 2025.
