Grip Leadership Conference

Inspiring young people be change makers

 On Wednesday the 5th of march, some of the student leadership team attended the Grip leadership conference, where we learned essential student leadership skills. It was a series or engaging presentations, given around the country. We learned that “responsibility is more than following a rule, it’s about taking ownership for the standard of our school”. And that “we shouldn’t dive into what we want to lead, we should always take time to find out a real need”. 

We plan to make positive changes to our school based on what we discussed, and are always open to feedback from students, teachers, parents, and the wider community.
