Portable Removal to create Future Passive Space for Students

We’re making some exciting changes to our schoolyard! 

Three portables near the bottom of South Park are currently being removed, as they are no longer required by the school. These portables were replaced in 2023 by two newer and larger double-storey portables to support our building works. Now that we have access to the HUB, these additional spaces are no longer needed.

Looking ahead, we are working with a local Landscape Architect to transform this area into a thoughtfully designed passive space for our students to enjoy. Once the removal is complete and the site is cleared, this new space will provide an inviting environment for relaxation and social connection.

The removal process is well underway—see the photos above for how quickly the portables can be taken off-site! A big thank you to Darebin Council for their support in ensuring safe access through South Park for the removal team.
