Careers Expo 2025
As we wrap up Term 1, it’s been an incredibly busy time in the careers space!
We hope that our Year 10-12 students enjoyed the Careers Expo on Monday 24 March. Over 40 exhibitors gave up their time to talk to our students about their courses, industry, and the plethora of career opportunities across a huge range of areas. We cannot thank our exhibitors enough for finding the time to come on campus and provide our students with this wonderful opportunity.
Careers Day was a resounding success. Thank you to our amazing volunteers who came in for a few hours to run three Career Talks sessions with our Year 10 students. These interactive sessions allowed our presenters to tell their career story and then answer questions from students. Students were really engaged and came up with some terrific questions. Thanks to our administrator, Dora, for all her hard work in organising these speakers for our students.
We had 13 speakers from various fields including a Prosecutorial Solicitor, an Associate Professor of Psychology, an Environmental Scientist, the Strategic Manager of 'Who Gives A Crap', a paramedic, and a musical instrument repairer. It was also exiting to have two Alumni, and of course two of our own - Jane & Jo - who willingly jumped in at the last minute. Thank you both.
There is a lot to look forward to next term – including career workshops for a number of year levels and the subject expo, as well as subject selection for 2026 commencing in June!!
