Glen Eira Awards - Recognising our volunteers
Kilvington is fortunate to have an incredibly active and supportive Parents and Friends Association (PFA), supported by an army of volunteers who help strengthen our school community.
Last week during National Volunteer Week, five outstanding members of our PFA were honoured at the Glen Eira City Council Volunteer Recognition Ceremony. Each received a certificate acknowledging their service and dedication to Kilvington.
Our sincere and heartfelt congratulations go to Nadine Power, Natasha Lowe, Sarah Russell, Alan Shanks and Lou Copper, who have each contributed more than 500 hours of their time, energy and expertise. We are so grateful for everything you do.

This month on SchoolTV, parents will find advice on how to help students cope with the pressure and how students can work smarter to achieve the results they desire.
Exams are like a game. Once you know how to play the game, your chances of achieving great results rapidly increase. Parents can learn how to assist their kids to maintain perspective and keep their sanity intact during exam time. Diet, exercise and sleep all play an important part in helping a student balance a busy schedule and study smarter.
