Port Melbourne Beach Excursion
Our Grade 3/4 students had their Life Saving Education Program excursion at the Port Melbourne beach on Tuesday, 9th December.
Our 3/4’s were able to complete all activities required in the water, with noodles and boogie boards some of the aides that were used.
The Education activities included: rescue strategies, safe boarding, survival strategies, CPR- being an everyday lifesaver and being aware and prepared of dangers in around water.
Both groups got to play many beach games on the sand including, newcomb, baton races, soccer, making sand castles and sand sculptures, collecting shells and many other beach activities.
Thankyou to all the teachers who attended and our fantastic parents who also volunteered on the day.
Enjoy the water this summer everyone and stay safe around it.
