We are utterly delighted with the magnificent progress and provision of our School Library. Good news is infectious at Chatham!

Ms Andrea McLeod works and supports our Library provision on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The enthusiasm and interest of our students in this area is truly inspiring. Our Year 5 & 6 students continue to have considerable input into our developments here.

'Dive into a good book' is our first theme this year in the wonderful Chatham library! The development of our Library continues to progress with the recent arrival of our new circulation desk and the installation of colourful pinboards! The Library is open at lunchtime every day and is the perfect place for children to escape the heat at this time of year. They can enjoy quiet reading, drawing or colouring-in our 'Dive into a good book' or sea creature themed colouring sheets. Children have also begun their weekly visits to the library with their classroom teachers and borrowing has commenced.

This year, we will have a broad selection of new books arriving, every month, in the Library. We will provide you with details of these as we initially put them on display for the children and teachers to explore and share, and then they will be available for the children to borrow.
