Junior School News

Last Thursday was a special day for many of our families as they embarked on their first day at St Mary’s. A warm welcome to our beautiful Preps—we are so excited to watch you flourish this year! A big thank you to Mrs. Santana for her fabulous work in helping our Preps transition so smoothly. 

Our first few days have been filled with fun and engaging activities as students get to know their new teachers and classmates. We have been prioritising student well-being, exploring our character strengths and the school’s RICH values, and setting classroom expectations. This time has also allowed teachers to connect with their students through 1:1 assessments, helping them identify strengths and areas for growth.

It has been fabulous to see new and old friendships grow both inside and outside the classroom. We thank our wonderful Junior School students for bringing their positive attitudes, kind hearts and friendly smiles to school each day and we are very much looking forward to the year ahead!
