I loved Religion as a student and having teachers I could approach.

Majorca, Spain.

How many years have you been teaching?
I have been teaching for 7 years after graduating in 2018 from Dublin City University.
What schools have you taught at before?
I have previously taught in Mary Mother of Hope Senior National School in Blanchardstown, Dublin for 6 years. I have also been CRTing around Melbourne since arriving in Australia.
What’s your favourite subject to teach?
My favourite subject to teach is history. I have a huge interest in history since my school days and enjoy the historical aspect of visiting new places.
What’s your favourite food?
My favourite food would have to be Thai food. I love a good Green Curry.
What’s your favourite book?
I really enjoy sports autobiographies. My favourite would have to be 'Seven Deadly Sins' about the Lance Armstrong Controversy.
What’s your favourite movie?
My favourite movie would have to be Shawshank Redemption.
Do you support a sports team?
My favourite sports team is Celtic Football Club in Scotland. I travelled over to a lot of games when living in Ireland.
What do you enjoy doing outside of school?
I love playing golf with mates, playing (bad) tennis and going to the gym daily.
What’s one thing you loved about school as a student?
Anything to do with having fun, especially playing sports with mates
If you could go anywhere in the world on holiday, where would it be?
Fiji

This is my 18th year working in Education
What schools have you taught at before?
I have been at St Finbar's, Brighton East for the last 11 years. Before that I have taught in a number of schools in Tasmania, Western Australia and the UK.
What’s your favourite subject to teach?
My favourite subject to teach is Sport & PE, as well as Mathematics

Chicken Parma, chips & mushroom sauce on the side

I recently enjoyed Dave Grohl's autobiography

Do you support a sports team?
Collingwood (AFL), Tassie JackJumpers (NBL), Miami Heat (NBA), Chelsea FC (EPL), Hurricanes (BBL)
What do you enjoy doing outside of school?
Golf, surfing, spending time with my family and dog "Comet". I am also trying to learn to play guitar (5 years in and still not improving!)
What’s one thing you loved about school as a student?
Being around friends and interschool sports, I loved competing against other schools with my classmates
