On Sunday, 26th May, we celebrated NATIONAL SORRY DAY when we commemorate the Stolen Generations. This event marks the beginning of NATIONAL RECONCILIATION WEEK with the theme 'NOW MORE THAN EVER' – a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. We were fortunate enough to have two students, Ivy Munday and Morgan Coll, invited to a Indigenous cultural experience on Friday 31st May, where they took part in learning about the rich history of our Taungurung land that we preside on. We were a part of a smoking ceremony where we were asked to cleanse our bodies, went on a nature walk to explore the different foods we could forage, served an indigenous morning tea and then participated in some indigenous artwork. It was an insightful experience and we're grateful for the invitation.
Sunday (1st & 3rd) : 9am Mass
