Premier's Debating Challenge

Round One Against Bonnet Bay Public School

On Wednesday 29th May the Premier's Debating Teams travelled to Bonnet Bay Public School for their first round debate. The focus for both debates was on education and this proved to be an excellent topic for discussion. Audrey, Layla, Willow and Abbey were first to debate and they argued why primary-aged students should not have the same teacher all year. Our second team, consisting of Thomas, Zoe, Jacob and Harkiran, battled it out over the topic that primary aged students should have a three-day weekend. Both debates brought up very persuasive arguments and the rebuttals that opposed these arguments were equally as strong. Both teams are to be commended on their efforts and representing the school exceptionally.
