Introducing PVCC's new Counsellor, Emma Wyndham

Emma has recently joined us as a counsellor at PVCC and comes to us after relocating from New South Wales, where she spent the last two years working at another Christian College. Before her time in Australia, she moved from the UK with her husband.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and experience working in a variety of settings including schools, private Christian counselling practices and charities. Emma is excited to embrace the new culture and be a part of PVCC.

Emma is a dedicated counsellor and her holistic approach to students’ wellbeing is grounded in empathy and centered on empowering individuals to navigate challenges. The heart of Emma’s practice is rooted in Christian values of love, compassion and understanding.

She firmly believes in the power of fostering a supportive, non-judgmental environment where students feel safe, heard, and valued. Whether addressing academic pressures, personal struggles or simply providing a listening ear, Emma is here to offer guidance and support across all ages and stages of development.

As Emma settles into her role, she is immersing herself in getting to know our students and the school community.
