Mission Preparation Camp

Last week from the 8th to the 10th of May, around twenty of us from the Year 10 cohort had the privilege to go on the Mission Awareness Preparation Camp to help equip us for the upcoming mission trips to both Vanuatu and Thailand.

We spent time learning more about one another and growing the bond between each other. We did many fun activities such as a flying fox, team building games and devotions. We also got to hear from many speakers who helped us learn more about their countries and cultures and helped us connect with God.

Some of the speakers who came to visit were teachers from The Victory School of Hope, which helped us gain a good insight into what our time will be like there, we also had people from Wycliffe, Grace Misson and even some of the students who went last year. It was a very helpful and informative camp and thank you to the teachers, camp staff, visitors and students who helped make the camp amazing.

Mission Fundraiser Success!

It was a great encouragement to our teams to see the whole school getting behind our mission trips. Altogether we raised around $2000 through the Comfy Clothes Day, Sausage Sizzle and Tuesday's Baked Goods Sale. A wonderful effort! We're looking forward to blessing the communities in Vanuatu and Thailand with the generous support of the PVCC community.

If you would like to donate further to this cause please contact Janet Hopkins, Pascal Siatskas or Craig Ogden.

Thank you to all for participating!
