Beyond academics, St Virgil's is dedicated to nurturing responsible and compassionate leaders for tomorrow. We seek to ensure that our values are lived out and expressed across all aspects of School life. While a change of commercial cleaning provider across the School Campuses might not feel like your typical newsworthy story, it is actually something we are proud to announce and share with you.

St Virgil’s has recently partnered with Blueline (Laundry) for our commercial cleaning services. Blueline represents much more than just a cleaning service; they are a Social Enterprise providing employment opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities, migrants, and refugees who often face challenges in securing and retaining employment. Their integrated workforce approach fosters a strong sense of connection and belonging among employees, ensuring a positive impact on both their workforce and the community.

This collaboration has not only seen our School Campuses maintained to the highest standards but also allows us to partner with Blueline in creating social impact, reinforcing our commitment to Social Justice and Community Spirit. Blueline has only recently expanded its offering beyond the laundry to include Commercial Cleaning services. Through this partnership with St Virgil’s, they provide employment for seven cleaners across our campuses, including five individuals with disabilities and two active NDIS participants. This partnership aligns with our School's values of inclusivity and support for all members of our community.

Our collaboration with Blueline is a reflection of our commitment to providing opportunities for everyone.

It is an opportunity for students to appreciate the importance of inclusion and diversity in our community, and that each of us can help facilitate positive change.
