Weekend Activities

Friday evening was a trip into Eaton Fair for supplies.

Saturday was an excursion to Mandurah for the day and then in the evening it was to the movies in Bunbury where students had the choice of watching either Kung Fu Panda or Planet of the Apes.

On Sunday several students went into the football at Eaton to see their friends play for the Harvey Bulls.  They must have been good luck as the Colts team had a big win, which was fantastic.

Weekly Activities

Monday night saw multiple trainings for Country Week as well as town netball and hockey up at Collie.

Brenton organised some activities for National Boarding Week on both Monday and Tuesday night with students involved in and created some interesting banners. Off site we had netball and both girls and boys football training in town.

On Wednesday evening the majority of students were  involved in an inter-dorm challenge in a variety of games to celebrate National Boarding Week.  There was plenty of enthusiasm and banter amongst the dorms.

At the same time we had two volleyball teams participated in a mini town competition at the Harvey Rec Centre in readiness for Country Week.

Open Day Uniform

With Open Day quickly approaching can I remind all students and parents that a clean unmarked uniform is required for the day.  We will conduct an inspection of all boarders’ uniforms next Wednesday evening during prep time to ensure that everyone has appropriate attire to represent themselves and the College to the highest standards on the day.  This means no dirty marks, holes or missing buttons.

We have had several students away this week with coughs and colds so it is important for us to take our personal hygiene seriously.
