Semester 1 Reports

Our teachers are currently hard at work completing the Semester 1 Reports. As previously communicated, you will notice significant changes to our reporting structure to hopefully make the document easier to read and more personalised to your child's learning needs. The reporting checklist has been replaced with written comments which will detail your child's areas of achievement and future learning for the different areas of Literacy and Numeracy. We have expanded the work habits section to include information relating to our school values. We hope that these changes enable parents to have greater understanding of their child's progress and therefore further strengthen the relationship between school and home.

Please be advised that the Semester 1 reports will be made available via Compass on Wednesday the 26th of June at 3:30 pm.

Camps!

Our May Madness of camps is finally complete, with Levels 3, 4, 5 & 6 participating in their camps over the past few weeks. I am pleased to report that the recent changes we have made to our camping program proved to  be successful. I had the pleasure of attending or visiting all of our new campsites (Year 3 - Ferngully Lodge, Year 4 - Mt Evelyn Discovery Camp and Year 5 - PGL Campaspe Downs) and all venues provided excellent activities and a safe and fun environment for our students. It was wonderful to witness our students challenging themselves in adventure activities, making new social connections and developing confidence and independence by spending time away from home in an unfamiliar environment. We look forward to continuing to provide an extensive camp program in 2025 and beyond.
