Assistant Principal's report

Coming into my 3rd year at the college now, has allowed me the opportunity to reflect on our growth as a college and community. Our emphasis on fostering a safe and orderly learning environment, continues to be a priority, as we are now at the embedding stage of our processes. 

These processes have been aligned with the SWPBS framework, which looks at having clear procedures to teach students expected behaviours, discourage unwanted behaviours and encourage wanted behaviours. 

Through frequent student assemblies, we have been able to teach students these behaviours and all reinforce our processes. This has led to a 15% reduction in negative behaviours from 2023 to 2024 as well as over 100% increase in positive behaviours.

We have launched our Human Rights approach this year to support inclusion across our college.
