Principal Team's Message
Nurture. Innovate. Celebrate.
Dear Students, Parents, Carers and Families,
Thank you for making our Colour Run a Huge Success!
It is with great pleasure and gratitude that we share the success of our recent Colour Run! The day was an incredible celebration of community spirit, filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a whole lot of colour. The smiles on our students’ faces, the laughter in the air, and the way everyone joined in with such excitement made for an unforgettable afternoon.
A special thank you goes to Mr. Wilson and Mr. Suisted for their dedication and support in helping bring this event to life. An extra special big thank you to Raelene Anderson (Friends of Maramba) who collaborated with Mr. Wilson to plan the event and sacrificed a lot of her personal time along with many others to make it the wonderful success it has been and we thank you for your efforts.
As Principal, I felt an immense sense of pride witnessing the unity and positivity that defines our Maramba community. Events like this are a reflection of the values we hold dear—teamwork, excellence, passion, and empowerment.
We are incredibly thankful for the generous donations and support from our students, families, and wider community. We raised approximately $16000! Your fundraising efforts will go a long way in helping us upgrade our basketball courts—something that will benefit our students for years to come.
Congratulations to our wonderful students who looked fantastic and tackled the course with great spirit! Thank you as well to all the Maramba staff for your enthusiasm and participation—including our brave Slime the Teacher volunteers.
Once again, thank you all for your ongoing support. We couldn’t have done it without you!

ANZAC DAY
During assembly this morning we celebrated ANZAC Day which is to be held tomorrow on Friday 25th April.
As a school community we took this time to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps who served during World War I and in all conflicts since.
Each class made a wreath of poppies which they presented during assembly .
Reading of “The Ode”
At the end I will say ‘We will remember them’ and you will repeat.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
“We will remember them.”
