From the Grade 1 Classrooms

The Grade Ones have been very excited to begin using our letter tiles during Phonics. This hands-on resource is an important part of our phonics program, supporting students with segmenting and blending words. 

A huge thank you to all our parent helpers who cut, stuck and laminated over 4,000 (!!!) letter tiles. This phonics resource would not have been possible without you! The students and Grade One teachers are very grateful.

Grade 1 & 2 OzHarvest Food Drive

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the Grade 1 & 2 OzHarvest Food Drive. We were overwhelmed with donations and Paul the OzHarvest driver was incredibly grateful for your generosity. This food will go towards feeding families in Melbourne who are finding filling their pantries a little tough right now. Our students did a wonderful job raising awareness for the food drive and supporting their families to gather the right items. Here are a few pictures of the wonderful collection of donations and the students watching Paul as he loaded the truck and took their donations away.
