Grade 5 News

What a great end to Term 1! 

We have been extremely impressed with the way all students have transitioned into our area and engaged in our learning this term. Well done everyone! 

This week we will be revealing the first winner of the Grade 5 Kickball cup. Classes have played each other over the past week with a scoring system focusing on team work and sportsmanship.

We had a great time learning lots of new footy skills with Galen students last Friday. Footballs are now back out on the yard at recess and lunch heading into the footy season. A reminder, please do not bring any balls from home. 

We encourage all students to keep up their reading over the school holidays and look forward to seeing an abundance of reading logs returned after the break. 

Students will have the opportunity to access our library for holiday reads this week and we also encourage you to make use of our wonderful town library that also grants free access to borrow box.  

We wish everyone a wonderful break and look forward to all the learning and fun that is to come in Term 2!
