Lenton Season -  Week 4

Good afternoon everyone.  

We are drawing close to the end of term now.  I wish to remind families that school fee accounts must be paid in full unless on a payment plan or have an alernative arrangement  in place.  Please make an appointment to see me if you are experiencing difficulties in meeting the school fee committments at this time. There are always solutions to support your family in this area.

It was a mixed day weather wise for the 3-6 House Athletics today.  All students tried their best despite some struggling with the changing temperature, but a fun day was had by all.  After the results of today, some children will proceed on to the District Athletics in term 2.  Thank you Hayley for your expert organisation that made the day run smoothly.

Holy Week Prayer Service 

on Friday, April 4 at 11:45 am

in the school grounds

Students from all classes will play an integral part in the story of Jesus’ last days of life on earth which will be enacted in the gymnasium.  At the start of Lent we sent home Project Compassion boxes to each family.  By placing money into the box throughout Lent we help raise funds to support vulnerable communities around the world. We invite you to bring your Project Compassion box contribution/s along to school before the end of term.

All families are invited to visit classrooms after the raffle draw and 

then to stay for a picnic lunch on the oval or environmental area.  

School concludes at 2.30pm

On Monday 31st, the grades 4 -6 are doing the Walk for Water Fundraiser.    Donations can be via the Caritas portal using the QR code.  

HOT LUNCH FRIDAY:  Next term the P & F are hoping to continue with Hot Lunch Fridays. Unfortunately we won't be able to run this if we don't have enough helpers.  At this stage we have had only 1 parent on our list.  Please think about it and let the school know if you can do a Friday/s during term 2 or term 3 (only for 1.5 to 2 hrs).
