Principal’s Report

Trivia Night

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our parents, friends, staff, and the wider community for making the 'Splash of Colour Trivia Night' such an enjoyable event. We would like to specifically acknowledge the effort and creativity demonstrated by all the tables, from the vibrant dragon costumes to the dazzling accessories and playful bunny ears; your contributions truly showcased our community spirit.

Congratulations to all the winners of the games, the best-dressed participants, and especially to the trivia champions. Well done to the victorious teams of Green and Pink. We are eagerly looking forward to next year's event. A special thank you goes to Grant and Ben Fitzgerald, our trivia masters, as well as the Rising Sun and Lake View for their generous prize donations, and to Daryl Giles for his exceptional bar service.  Our night managed to raise about $2000.

Caritas Ks

On Friday, March 28th, we are pleased to announce the annual Caritas K’s event, which will commence at 9:00 AM. We warmly invite all parents to join us in supporting the students as they participate in the walk/run. For the safety of all children, we kindly ask that no dogs be brought to the event.

This event not only provides students with an enjoyable opportunity to walk and run around Lake Weeroona, but it also serves as a platform for fundraising and raising awareness about social justice within our school community and beyond. Our goal is to inspire participants to "be more" and to "be a voice" for those in need around the globe.

Final Liturgy & End of Term

School term finishes Friday 4th April, at 2:15 pm. Preceding the end of term our students will participate in a final liturgy in the hall at 1:45 pm and draw the Easter Raffle.

Easter Egg Raffle

On the final day of Term 1, we will conduct the drawing for our Easter raffle. Please ensure that you return your raffle tickets by next Friday (extra tickets are available at the office). We are pleased to see a generous response in donations to enhance our prize offerings. Containers for the collection of eggs, bunnies, and other items are available in each room, and these items will be assembled into hampers that will serve as the raffle prizes. We would like to extend our gratitude to the Parents and Friends Association for organising this fundraiser.
