Respectful Relationship News

It has been a fabulous term in Respectful Relationships with students across all year levels covering the first two topics of the RR curriculum in their weekly lessons. Both Topics 1 & 2 (Emotional Literacy & Personal Strengths) have linked very closely to the Term 1 Inquiry Topic- Identity that students are also learning about.

It has been wonderful to hear many students making connections to the Zones of Emotions and expressing their feelings. Encouraging students to use words to communicate how they are feeling is so important.

Next Term, students will be learning about the next 2 topics in the Respectful Relationships curriculum. They include:

-Topic 3: Positive Coping 

-Topic 4: Problem Solving

These once again will be extremely beneficial topics to cover as part of our learning at Mill Park Heights Primary School.
