Year 12 leadership and school captains in 2025
Year 11 students: We are in the process of planning student leadership opportunities for the 2025 Year 12 cohort. If you believe you possess the qualities of a leader and could positively contribute to the culture of Maribyrnong College, you are encouraged to express your interest:

VCE Exams Navigator
Year 11 students: copies of the VCE Exams Navigator are available in the Senior School for any Year 11 student taking a Year 12 subject this year. The Navigator has lots of important information about exam rules, authorised materials, and the VCAA exam timetable. If you did not receive one, please collect one ASAP.
2025 Year 12 jumpers
Year 11 students: The winning design is... Option A! Shout out to Shylah Balla-Ateli for creating the artwork. A sizing kit is available in the Senior School office for the next two weeks. You are encouraged to come at recess or lunch to try on the jumpers for size before you make your order. More information about ordering your Year 12 jumper will be posted shortly.

Skyline Hatch Unit 3&4 Exam Revision Series
Led by high-achieving tutors who are recent VCE graduates, the Exam Revision Series is a fantastic opportunity for students to prepare for success in Unit 3/4 exams. Students can choose one or more sessions from the most popular Unit 3/4 subjects, per the above schedule.

Practice Exams
Unit 3+4 students: the Practice Exam timetable is now live. Ensure that you have double checked the schedule and are available to attend the compulsory exams. Full details in Ms Walker's Compass post.
VTAC meetings
VTAC appointment bookings with Ms Butera or Ms Fairbrother are now open through Compass. All Year 12 students must book a careers/pathways meeting.
Celebrating Success
Shout out to the Year 11 students who stepped up to create some great designs for the 2025 Year 12 jumper: Ferenz Pineda, Clara Nutt, Jess Rosemond, Shylah Balla-Ateli, Ira Acharya, and Stephen He.
SAC Absences
Reminder for all VCE students: any absence from a SAC must be supported by a medical certificate, or be an approved sporting absence through the MSA (Academy students only - use the link below).
An unapproved absence will result in the student receiving a score of zero for the SAC. The student will still be expected to complete the SAC when they return to school.
