Student Attendance - Late Arrivals
As we are nearing the end of the term, the number of students who are arriving late to school has increased. The first bell rings at 8:30 am and all students should be at school before this time.
Students should be in the habit of getting prepared the evening before – making sure their laptop is on charge; checking their timetable, uniform ready and bags packed.
Senior students who are driving themselves to school need to make allowances for traffic and parking around the College.
If your son has an appointment and will be arriving to school late, please log in to Parent Lounge/Attendance to notify the College.
Year 8 Retreat Day
The hard copy calendar shows a Year 8 retreat day set for Wednesday 21 August. Please note that this was rescheduled to Term 2, Week 3 and has already occurred. Year 8 students will be attending normal classes on Wednesday.
Year 9 Camp
An email will be all sent to all families later this week with final details of the camp as well as forms and instructions relating to students who require to take medication whilst on camp.
National Day of Actioning Against Bullying
The National Day of Action against Bullying Day was recognised last week during the Ekka break. Our student leaders will make a presentation to the students at assembly this week. We will educate the boys and provide them with the encouragement to stand up against all forms of bullying and treating each other with respect. There will be ongoing discussions during pastoral group time with students reinforcing this important message.
Student Bus Travel
Please ensure your son’s bus pass has sufficient funds to complete their journey. Students must use the correct bus pass/card listed below when boarding each type of service to ensure the correct fare is charged.
