Team Leader

General Role Statement:

Provide educational leadership in the planning and development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum in a subject/year level in accordance with the VCE and/or Victorian Curriculum.

Specific Tasks:

1. Ensure consistent delivery and assessment of the VCE/Victorian Curriculum across their subject/year level.
2. Support the KLA Leader by ensuring that the Curriculum in their subject/year level is well documented, with support materials [Course Outlines, Unit Plans and Student Handouts that are also inclusive of EAL students, funded students and students requiring an ILP] available electronically on Compass for all teaching staff.
3. Provide support and advice to the Head of YL/YL Coordinator as required for students who are new to the College or for students on an extended absence.
4. Assist the KLA Leader and/or Head of Year Level with excursions/incursions/camps or special activities in their respective subject/year level.
5. Support the KLA Leader/Head of Year Level with the publicity and promotion of KLA specific programs and student achievement both within the College and the wider community. For example, attendance at Information Nights and the writing of newsletter items etc.
