What a big term of sport we are enjoying at the moment. We have been able to send teams in all of the following sports – Soccer, Badminton, Basketball and Table Tennis. 

Our Year 7 boys won the Yarra Division badminton competition and are attending the Eastern Metropolitan Regional finals on Friday 9th August. Well done to Flynn, Quinn, Ezra, Axel and Jacob. Good luck boys!

Our Year 8 table tennis girls’ team were forfeited against but were able to play a round robin singles competition on the day. Each of the girls – Ella, Indigo, Cara, Ivy and Grace were able to enjoy some wins throughout the day, but special mention must go to Ella Kells, who was undefeated all day! These girls also enjoyed the day, and will be rewarded with the Yarra Division Event Championship pennant, too.

There is still the Year 7 sports day coming up, as well as our Eastern Metropolitan Athletics Carnival, which will be held at Morrisons Reserve on Friday 30th August. Hopefully some of our students will be inspired by the current gold rush of our Aussie athletes in Paris, and achieve a PB on the day.
